UX/UI Design

UX/UI design for web and mobile products that convert

UX/UI design covers information architecture, user journeys and the visual interface of a digital product. Budget €1,500 to €4,000 for the mockups of a brochure site and €4,000 to €12,000 for an application, over two to six weeks. Figma files and components are yours on delivery. What UX/UI design covers, and what it does not

UX is the part nobody sees: what goes on which page, in what order, with what wording, and what the person is trying to achieve. UI is what they do see: layout, type, colour, states, spacing. The two are usually sold together and they are not the same skill, which is worth knowing when you compare quotes.

In practice a design engagement produces three things: an architecture (the map of screens and how they connect), wireframes (structure without decoration, where the arguments happen), and mockups (the finished interface, in every state, including the empty and error ones that get forgotten).

What it does not include is validating the idea. Design makes a product clear and pleasant to use; it does not make people want it. If the underlying proposition is wrong, a better interface only helps people discover that faster. We would rather say that at the start than at the end.

What we deliver

Everything is produced in Figma, with components and styles organised so a developer can work from the file without asking questions. You keep the file and its full history.

Information architecture

The map of screens and navigation, built from real user intents rather than from your internal org chart.

Wireframes

Structure without decoration, so the conversation stays on content and priority instead of colour choices.

UI mockups

Every template in desktop and mobile, with hover, focus, loading, empty and error states specified rather than implied.

Design system

Reusable components, type scale, colour tokens and spacing rules, documented so the product stays coherent as it grows.

Interactive prototype

A clickable version of the main journeys, useful for internal sign-off and for testing with a handful of real users before anything is built.

Developer handover

A walkthrough session with whoever is building it, plus written notes on behaviour that a static file cannot express.

How much does UX/UI design cost?

Price follows the number of distinct templates and the depth of the journeys, not the number of pages. These are our real ranges, in euros excluding tax.

Our five-step process

  1. 1

    Discovery

Who uses this, to do what, and what currently gets in the way. One or two workshops, plus a look at your analytics if the product already exists.

  2. 2

    Architecture and wireframes

The screen map, then wireframes of each template. This is where scope arguments are cheapest to have, so we have them here on purpose.

  3. 3

    Art direction

One or two visual directions applied to a real screen rather than to a mood board, so you are choosing something you can actually judge.

  4. 4

    Mockups and prototype

Every template in both breakpoints with all states, assembled into a clickable prototype of the main journeys.

  5. 5

    System and handover

Components and tokens documented, then a handover session with the development team, ours or yours.

Tools we use

Standard tools, standard file structures. Nothing that requires a licence you do not already have in order to open your own design.

Why a team in Madagascar?

Design work needs frequent, short conversations rather than long formal reviews. Our team is in Antananarivo, one to two hours ahead of Western Europe and working in French and English, so a fifteen-minute call to settle a question happens the same day.

Local costs let us charge 50 to 70 percent less than a Western European studio at the same seniority. On design in particular that often means you can afford wireframes and a prototype rather than jumping straight to mockups and paying for it later in development.

Roughly a third of our design work is handed to another development team, internal or external. We build the file for that from the start: named components, documented states, no hidden layers, no decisions that only make sense to the person who drew them.

Frequently asked questions

Can you design for a team that will build it themselves?

+
Yes, and about a third of our design work goes that way. You get a documented Figma file, a design system with named components and a handover session with your developers. You own the file and its components; there is nothing tying the build to us.

We already have a brand. Can you work with it?

+
Yes, and that is the most common case. We start from your logo, colours and existing material and build the digital extension, which always needs more than a print identity provides: interaction states, accessible contrast, touch target sizes, responsive behaviour.

How many templates does a website actually need?

+
Usually five to seven: home, service page, listing page, article page, contact, plus one or two specific layouts. Everything else is composed from the same blocks. Charging per page makes little sense — the cost is in the number of distinct templates, not the number of URLs.

Do you handle accessibility?

+
We apply WCAG level AA fundamentals by default: sufficient contrast, touch target sizes, keyboard navigation, form labels, consistent heading hierarchy. A full conformance programme with a formal audit is a separate engagement, quoted separately, if your organisation is legally required to have one.

How many rounds of revision are included?

+
Two per stage — wireframes, art direction, mockups — which is enough on the large majority of projects. Beyond that we bill by the day, but in our experience a third round almost always signals unclear scoping at the start rather than a design problem.

Do you run user testing?

+
We run lightweight testing on the prototype with five to eight participants when the budget allows, which catches most structural problems. Large quantitative studies are not what we do, and we will point you to a research specialist rather than pretend otherwise.
